Weekend already over,, geeez , week started with me not planning to go out and take it easy.. it started with the guys wanted to go and have some sheesha but I was reluctant to go and wanted just to chill at home. After 30 mins our hostel warden ask me to if I wanted to go out & have a few drinks , he does drop by once a while and every time I’ve made excuses , I tried it again but he wouldn’t buy into so I ended up going. The place we when to is just behind the uni, much older crowd to what I’m use to I had both old and young ladies coming up to me to ask whether I would like to sponsor them for a drink , you buy drinks for the ladies to spend time with you, I told them I that I didn’t have any money so they all vanished :)

Midway through the week we went driving around town , rented a car for the arvo racing around town , dropped pass maccas only to terrorize the place by moving the chairs and tables to the counter asking to be served this was like 12 midnight , went to a Chinese karaoke for drinks and couldn’t pass on the chance to sing Bon jovi ! , mixed reactions from the crowd , might take time to get the locals use to it ,, ( good stuff though , you can totally screw the lyrics and nobody can tell).

Friday night went to a house warning party ( well I think that was the reason) from another international student living off campus ,, at the beginning we had a doubts about the party only to come good at the end,, we sat up base camp with our 27 liter punch dispenser with 4 liters of vodka , we had a group of 7 but by the end of it we had supply around half of the party with alcohol. ( Got some photo’s up in the album)

Just chilling out around uni over the weekend, where thinking of organizing a go somewhere for Easter break , we have this Friday off so contemplating catching a plane to either Sabah or KL,,
I just had my first encounter with a scorpion while walking to the supermarket,, I was like freaking out so what do I say , lets piss it off . We were all scared but manage to touch it with a stick,, it lifted up its tail and since yesterday I’ve seen two flatted on the road.

Hey Luca,
I'm amused with your drinking stories in the local bars. I've been Vietnam for a couple of weeks now, and it's similar.... The girls look at what you are drinking to decide if you've got money (and hence if you are worth talking to).

If you drink beer, no girls talk to you.

If you drink cognac or whiskey tho, it must mean you've got money, and they all talk to you.

hehehe

I like beer too much though!

The locals here love karaoke too.

Take some photos of the scorpions if you can..? That would be cool.
