Ah man, time is racing ahead and it’s amazing after just having the mentality of postponing something here I am 2 months later. Anyway not sure where to begin, I’ll start of the present and move backwards (see how that goes). Well things are kinda cruisey at the moment with uni apart from my final year project. Seriously lost all motivated around a month ago and now full steam ahead towards the end of the semester.

A lot has changed since my last post, with me moving out of the hostel and into an apartment. It’s a lot quieter than the hostel in the sense I’m only involved in things only if I choose to be and not because of I’m just around. I don’t spend a large amount of time at uni and instead just hang out at home or organize to meet up with the guys. Also been hanging out a lot with another guy from Cyprus since we decided to rent a car together for the next few months. Good times, pretty mobile now getting around town and driving this beast around. So old school from the interior made from leatherish material and smelling like moth balls, but slowly where decking it out this any random pieces of junk we can find. We spend a whole afternoon walking to random clubs in town asking where they brought their disco ball and offering to buy it.

What else ..um done a few diving trips during the weekends , when to an awesome diving site where an old Japanese warship remains on the sea bed. Fantastic experience, the whole place was full of marine animals and I enjoyed maneuvering around different sections of the ship. Also had a scary experience of my air supplying screwing up at 25 meters under water. Surprisingly I handed it well, probably knowing there were around 10 of us down there but still crazy stuff.

Been trying to prepare myself for next year, I wasn’t able to find a replace subject around here so the plan is to head over to London and find a university that has a similar subject. I don’t know why but only recently I really started trying to get on top of it. I guess a combination of things just got me thinking in a negative way but during the last 2 weeks I’ve been pro active about it. Got a few things moving now so I guess time will tell what will happen?

Nightlife still exists, whole crapp this reminds me. I bumped into two aussies from Melbourne that are studying in kuching as well ( different university) . Totally unexpected when the girl asked me where I abouts I lived she totally flipped out after I said sunbury. Geez, that’s screwed after she told me that she lived in goonny, seriously what are the orders of two people studying in a small city in Malaysia from the same town. So yeah , still going out during the weekend and even just dropping in quickly to Wednesday night to have a few drinks. Also with the car we try and mix it up a little by going to different places but lol we always end up back at grappa. Anyways that’s everything off the top of my head, so all is good ..

Seeing these kind of posts reminds me of just how technology truly is ubiquitous in this day and age, and I am fairly certain that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory drops, the possibility of uploading our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could experience in my lifetime.
